Hi my name is Kellie, and I am the sole artist and creator at Casalinga Creative. Firstly I am a mum of 2 beautiful adult sons whom are now off fulfilling their own dreams, also a wife to a very supportive and loving husband, and loyal subject to my 4 legged princess, Miss Xena D. turesque Hydeaway Bay nestled on the northern part of the Whitsundays. Whilst living on the Gold Coast my career looked very different to what it is today. In 2018 I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a are type of blood cancer. After surviving chemo, dialysis and a stem cell transplant, I was informed that I most likely never work in either of those two professions again. It was during my recovery from the stem cell transplant that I fell in love with macrame and resin art. From there my passion for resin art just bloomed. More over I loved how resin art was so unique, that no 2 pieces could ever look the same. I am the most happiest and my self when in the studio creating these one of a kind pieces. My home now over looks some of the most beautiful views and is definitely the inspiration for the majority of my work. I am extremely grateful that I get to do what I love.
