Some peeks of the creations I have been working on over the last few weeks. Not as many as I was hoping for, but very proud of the few I have managed

With the internet & my energy levels at one bar, and gone in the rain, life here has been a touch harder than I imagined. I remember a similar feeling when I was flying all over the country, back when I was human, for work & craved that ‘homey’ feeling. Dont get me wrong, I was blessed with the life I had but I think there is something about a beautiful ingrained routine that keeps you grounded.

What helps you when you are in a home away from home?

Its funny the mentality a closed off home creates. Simple glimmers of the outside, the changes in light & the ‘feeling’ of home has such a massive effect on your experience

This part of my ‘home away from home’ will be another challenging one but in a way I didn’t expect. I am very thankful for my iPad & drawing materials at the moment but I do crave the little comforts freedom creates. Still working on making a vignette that feels like home….

In the meantime, I am trying to put my head down & create. A few glimpses of this weeks finished work with a sketch just for fun

What are your ‘homely’ comforts?

Mine are:

🪴- Plants, herbs or flowers
🖼️ - A little pretty focus point
🕯️- Soft earthy scents
🛋️ - Comfy, cozy place to sit/stand/lay
