Why we keep coming back to stainless steel.

It handles heat, moisture, acids, and impact without flinching.
Born from fire and pressure, it doesn’t soften with use, it gains character.

We love the energy it brings to a space. Sharp but not cold. Crisp, architectural, a little bit bold.
The way it plays with light brings a different kind of energy into a space.

Clean lines. Precise details. A surface that invites real living. The kind that makes you consider skipping the cutting board… just to see.

MEET THE MAKER | Oat Studio

Our new Meet the Maker series celebrates the creatives we admire here at Musa Studio, the artisans, designers and storytellers whose work is shaped by craft, curiosity, and a deep connection to materiality.

First up is Canberra-based designer Sarah Annand, whose hand-painted artworks are translated into printed textiles that soften architectural form into colour, movement and beautiful imperfection. Her pieces invite us to slow down, look closer, and feel the human hand behind every pattern.

Our first Meet the Maker feature is now live, read Sarah’s story and creative journey over on our blog.

Burl is nature’s way of telling stories in wood.

Shaped through challenge, burl is the tree’s natural response to stress, revealing markings that are dramatic, intricate, and utterly one-of-a-kind.

That’s why each piece feels less like joinery, and more like a natural artwork, bringing its own character and warmth into the home.

A glimpse into the process.

Within each box, fabrics, finishes and materials are carefully gathered, giving our clients the opportunity to touch, see and experience how every choice is considered, and how together they make the process as meaningful as the finished space.

PROJECT FEATURE | Alto Vista

Soft alpine light filters into this reimagined Jindabyne ensuite, transformed into a quiet retreat where the rituals of daily life are elevated. Natural surfaces and crafted detail reveal the gentle radiance of handmade elements, each celebrating the artistry of the maker. Guided by a design-led approach to wellbeing, the renovation unfolds as a sanctuary, layered, soulful, and grounded in beauty and ease.

Alto Vista is built on Ngarigo land.
