I haven’t posted in a while, and it is mostly because I haven’t had time to crochet 😭. But not everything has been work and not fun, as I got to travel a little, and even visited my home, Peru. I brought with me a few things that I loved, Peruvian artisans are incredible, and I am always in awe of their work. I am selling some of the jewellery I brought with me. If you are interested please let me know. We can arrange collection in Edgewater, Nedlands or Northbridge.

I will be here this Saturday, as part of the North Perth Knit, Knater and Crochet group stall. I will have lots of bargains, and a few of very cute crocheted earrings that I just made and would make the perfect Christmas present.

My Great grandmother taught my Grandma, my Grandma my Mum, and she taught me...

I always remember my Grandma knitting neverending rugs from yarn scraps. I remember too a story that my Mum told me about my birthday: I was very small (about 1.9 kg), and didn´t have any clothing as it was an emergency birth. My Grandma would stay up all night knitting the smallest jacket and beanie ever. She did three sets for me that night. My Mum still has them. My Mum crochets hundreds of little things every year, and then, in December, she packs them and visits all the family and friends. She brings a small handmade gift for everyone. And when someone in the family gets married she crochet a kingsize bedcover as a wedding gift. I come from a family of crafters, I used to see with wonder how my Mum could do such amazing things and always hoped I would learn one day. And I practised and learnt how to crochet, how to knit, then I started learning handmade jewellery, and currently, I am learning my way with the sewing machine. I decided to take my craft one step further and open this store. Everything you will see is made by me using only carefully selected second-hand materials. I care for the planet, and even I love my crafts, I do not want to add to all the things that are already around. Upcycling and reusing is my motto. When you buy an item from my store you can be sure that is has been made with love for the planet and its people.
