FAIRE “FAIRE” (French for DO, MAKE, TAKE, WORK, PERFORM & PLAY) creative workshop studio in Kalamunda, A creative hub for children and a store for living and giving.

Stocking awesome Perth small businesses selling clothing, homewares, decor and accessories for both adults and children. Workshops for both children and adults are run throughout the week. Makers and professionals can share their skills with their followers and promote their business at the same time. Mornings will be filled with toddler craft activities, which will bring in customers to entertain

their children and catch up with their friends with the added bonus of being exposed to fabulous Perth brands, available in our retail area. Our other workshops will be “how to” sessions (think macrame, kokedama, water colour, screen printing, craft) or information sessions. The retail space, is located outside of Kalamunda Central. The location has massive exposure due to visitors to the monthly rotary club markets (1st Saturday of each month), Farmers Markets (every Sunday morning) and Night Markets (run over the summer months, monthly on a Friday night). Our store fronts the main thoroughfare for the markets.

Okay Perth creative humans … this one’s a little different from our usual painty chaos posts.

We’re officially looking for a Studio & Ops Manager to help keep the wheels turning behind the scenes at Faire & Co.

This role is for the organised legends.

The people who love systems, solving problems, supporting teams and making magic happen without needing a gold star every five minutes.

Maybe you’re returning to work after kids.

Maybe you’ve done admin, events, operations or customer experience before and have a load of experience in it.

Maybe you’re just wildly capable and ready for something meaningful and community-driven.

Roll, squish, pinch, repeat. Clay week is always a studio highlight. Our little artists strengthen their hands while building colourful caterpillars with the most personality you’ve ever seen. There’s sequencing, colour play and plenty of giggles when someone adds “just one more segment”. These tiny hands are doing big things. Come get clay-y with us.

Gotta love, 💌 notes left by the students for me before I start my adult class, literally brings me the biggest smile, and even though running a small business can be extremely tough, this is the exact reason why I do this!
