Hi lovely friends, 💛

I wanted to pop on here with a little update about Storybook Lane.

As many of you know, this little business has been a dream of mine and something I’ve been so excited to launch. However, due to some personal and family commitments, I’ve made the decision to delay opening orders until the end of the year.

Recently, I lost my mum, and while navigating that loss, my full-time job has also become incredibly busy. On top of that, I’m cherishing this special season with my daughter as we prepare to welcome our very first grandbaby into the world. I’m also taking some time to focus on a few health issues and prioritise my wellbeing.

While Storybook Lane may be taking a little longer to officially begin, it’s still very close to my heart, and I’m so excited for what’s to come. I truly hope you’ll stick around until then, because I already have some beautiful pieces planned for your little ones. ✨

Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and support while I take this time for myself and my family. I can’t wait to share this journey with you when the time is right. 🤍

✨A New Chapter Begins✨

Welcome to Storybook Lane, a magical little place where childhood dreams, imagination and sweet keepsakes come to life. A place made just for little hands, big milestones and the stories that will be treasured forever 🤍

As we step into this new chapter, we’re so excited to begin this beautiful journey with you and your little ones. Storybook Lane officially opens May 1, and we can’t wait to start creating thoughtful, story-filled pieces designed to celebrate childhood and all of its precious moments.

And in true Storybook Lane fashion... 2026 is already shaping up to be extra special for us -
We’re over the moon to share that we’re going to be grandparents in July 💖🍼 This next chapter has filled our hearts with even more inspiration, love, and purpose.

I’ve been working on a little something new 🤍

These super special blocks can include all of your baby’s birth details including your little one’s weight, time & date of birth. I have a few different images to feature on the front of these little additions.

SAVE THIS IF YOU’RE EXPECTING!

These are the top 5 things I would share with any new parent when decorating the nursery. It can be such an overwhelming time with so many different things to think about, so keep your nursery decor simple.

1. The nursery doesn’t need to be ready before baby arrives. They won’t be moving into it for at least a few months. You’ve got plenty of night feeds to browse online for ideas!

2. Just buy the essentials to start with for the same reason. So long as you have some kind of changing area you can get everything else later on.

3. Don’t commit to a theme too early. It sounds obvious but you might get bored of a theme if you’re decorating the nursery only a few weeks pregnant. Once baby’s arrived you may find their personality will influence the decorations you buy.

4. Don’t use nails or drill holes to hang decorations. I was always changing the decorations in my children’s room so l would use fixings that can be easily removed like 3M
Command Strips. Also great if you live in rented accomodation!

5. You don’t need fancy wallpaper. I will generally avoid big DIY tasks like hanging wallpaper, but it also means if you paint your walls a plain colour the decor can be changed more easily. I love wall stickers for adding pattern to a wall as they’re so simple to remove when you fancy a change.
