Jan 2. Trinket tray, with recycled lid insert.
Experimenting with basket making. Currently using up scraps being crocheted over 6mm rope. Wondering if I should make a freeform mat or baskets. At least I'll have something to put my scissors and needle into when I'm working on a project.

January 1.
Beanie started on Boxing day, sewn up tonight. At least I'm ready with head wear for the cold weather this year!
Pattern below so when I make the kids beanies for school, I remember.
Chain 12 into a ring.
Foundation double crochet desired length.
Alternating rows, half treble crochet down, and half treble slip stitch up. Slip stitch around ring to join each row.

These guys are imbued with the spirit of Christmas past, and made new into earrings for the present... And for presents!

I sat down to make some market stock for next Saturday (Wangi Bowling club if your interested) and accidentally made a new fidget toy.
May I introduce Pentapus.
5 different curly tentacles and a soft filled head for children to interact with.
