Wow, the last couple of days my flower stand has literally sold out every single day! I honestly canā€™t thank you enough. šŸŒø

Iā€™ve been refreshing it every night, and Iā€™ve just restocked it again now.
This round thereā€™s a gorgeous mix of bright, happy colours and some soft pastels. And thereā€™s only one native bunch left, so if thatā€™s your favourite, be quick!

The stand is open 7 days a week. Itā€™s self-serve, so what you see is what you can choose from. As long as itā€™s daylight, you can drive right up to the studio door, grab your flowers and go.

Every bunch is $49. If Iā€™m not here, no worries at all. Just pay using the QR code on the stand.

The Community Posy Project is on again this Thursday šŸŒø

Thursday 15 October, 10.30am until 12 noon. Weā€™ve added extra time this round, so thereā€™s more space to slow down, have a coffee and enjoy each otherā€™s company.

These photos are from our last session, and honestly, they say it better than I can. Coffee, chatter, a lot of laughing, and so many beautiful posies coming together around the table.

If you havenā€™t come along before, hereā€™s how it works. You make two posies. One is yours to take home. The other is given away to someone in our community.

I started this project because so many people are feeling lonely or a bit disconnected, and a morning of making something with your hands, around a table with others, really helps. People arrive not knowing anyone and leave having shared a coffee, a story and a few laughs. Some come for the flowers. Most come back for the company.

And then thereā€™s that second posy. It goes to someone who isnā€™t expecting it. Maybe someone who hasnā€™t had a visitor in a while, or someone who just needs to know they havenā€™t been forgotten. You wonā€™t meet them, but your flowers will make their day a little brighter.

The Community Posy Project is volunteer run and not-for-profit. The $15 only covers the wholesale cost of the flowers.

Jane is the friend who had you for the weekend.
She made up the spare bed, had the coffee ready before you were even up.

Itā€™s open 7 days, so you can grab a bunch before work or on your way home and drop it at her door.

Already headed home? Thatā€™s okay too.
Monday to Friday, you can jump on our website, pick a bunch, and weā€™ll deliver it for you the same day. To her home, or as a lovely surprise at her workplace.

I love that moment when someone realises the weekend meant just as much to you as it did to them.

Today I spent the whole day rearranging the studio, and Iā€™m so excited to share what came out of it šŸŒø

We now have a flower fridge out the front of the Flowers for Jane studio!
Itā€™s a self-serve flower stand, stocked with our $49 hessian wrapped bunches.
Grab and go, easy as that.

Hereā€™s how it works:
šŸŒæ All flowers are wet packed, so they stay fresh until you get them home
šŸ’Œ Every bunch comes with a complimentary gift card
šŸ“± Pay via the QR code on the fridge

Who is Jane?

Jane is your auntie who just lost her husband of 50 years. And youā€™re three states away.

When someone passes, itā€™s really hard when you canā€™t be there in person. Thatā€™s honestly what flowers are for. Just ring the local florist in your auntieā€™s area or jump on their website, and theyā€™ll deliver the flowers for you, so Jane knows youā€™re thinking of her.

These are our Bereavement Blooms. Soft, subtle tones of whites, creams, blush and pink, and sometimes a touch of mauve. Gentle and calm, kind of like a quiet hug.

And hereā€™s why I love sending them in a vase for sympathy flowers. The arrangement is made to fit the vase, so thereā€™s nothing to unwrap and no hunting through cupboards for something to put them in. We deliver, it goes straight onto the hall table, and thatā€™s it. All they need to do is top up or change the water every couple of days.
When someone is grieving, that one less job really matters.

I use mixed seasonal flowers too, and that makes a big difference. As some flowers bloom and finish, others keep going, so the whole arrangement looks good for longer.

What a Saturday! šŸ„‚šŸŒø

I had the loveliest group of girls in for a private flower workshop to kick off a henā€™s celebration. Bubbles, laughter and some really beautiful arrangements.

And this was only the start of their day. From here they were off down the Mornington Peninsula to a winery, then a soak at Peninsula Hot Springs . I reckon the party will go well into the morning!

Congratulations to our bride-to-be. Wishing you so much love. šŸ’
