Scott was in need of a couple of old bars yesterday, so we pulled off the highway at random and ended up in Lancaster. I googled the oldest pub and found “The Three Mariners” . She was old, built in 1400 something. Low ceilings, so much character. But my favourite was “The Study Room” . Old books, old typewriters and beautiful old chairs.
Lancaster itself is full of beautiful old buildings, but it had a neglected feel, and felt a bit rough 😐
