Daytona House is nearing one year since completion 🖤

A project inspired by a moody hotel aesthetic, the home offers a striking combination of natural materials including a leathery quartz stone, concrete, brick and walnut timber. Japanese mosaic tiles adorned the walls of the wet rooms contributing to the heavily textured materials palette.

Sweet little West Launceston Bathroom & Ensuite renovation ✨

Symmetrie was invited to re-design the previously updated bathroom and ensuite to pay homage to the Victorian era of the property. The client brief was to create spaces that were to contrast in visual appeal while still holding some continuity in overall aesthetic.

We incorporated period elements into both spaces including the basket weave mosaic tiles, marble skirting, wainscotting and classic vanity designs. We decided to create contrast through a light vs dark palette, using a Carrara marble herringbone wall tile in the main bathroom and a Nero Marquina herringbone for the darker ensuite. A Victorian inspired patterned grasscloth wallpaper adorned the walls of the ensuite, while a Dulux muted green wall colour was used to create a sense of elegance tranquillity in the main bathroom. Both spaces share classic Antique Brass tapware by Faucet Strommen.

Symmetrie was engaged by founder of Noss & Co, Kirsty Morrison to re-imagine her existing ceramics shop in historic Evandale, within a new premises in Launceston’s C*D.

Inspired by the Noss pieces themselves which are vibrant, colourful and completely unique, Symmetrie set out to create a space that was exactly that. Noss & Co on George Street now welcomes Kirsty’s customers with vibrancy, colour and lots of fun 🌸

One year since completion for beautiful Hornsey Avenue 🤍

A relaxed foundational palette of oak timber, white shaker joinery and gentle Calcutta Oro stone were used to support the clients interest for pops of personality through patterned wallpaper, textured wall panelling and a splash of colour. We had a lot of fun with this one!
