A sneak peek at a price I have started recently.

I can't wait to get into the depths of the greens on this one. Recently Iv taken to bring my work out under the large pines near my house. There is something about the filtered light that is just perfect for checking my colours.

One of my greatest creations (my son Rupert) critiquing my painting so far.

It fills my heart with joy to see how proud my children are of their mum. I hope that they too will one day follow their passion and I can't wait to see where it takes them.

I recently traveled to NSW to deliver some of my art to Satch and co gallery Holbrook .

Myself and the family took our time and camped along the way. We discovered some new beautiful landscapes and I'm full of inspiration so much so I'm back at it again tonight. My head is full of images of rolling hills and bush tracks among ancient trees. where ever I travel in our big beautiful country I am caught by moments of natural beauty that I want to capture and share.

Just heading over here for a bit...
My brain has not caught up with my heart.

I love this painting so much but I don't quite know why. It is so different to my normal work and where I aim for but it so naturally flowed from me today. The painting beneath this one I was hating and in anger painted over it and this beauty come forth.

Today I went hunting for hills in Poowong East.

As my children are getting older and starting kindergarten and school I'm getting more time to indulge in painting.

It's impossible to sit for hours on the side of a road with a 4-year-old safely. So the few hours I do get each week alone I really enjoy. There is something about painting in place, hearing the cows and the yellow tail Black cockatoos in the pine trees add so much more meaning to each painting.

Also again today I am left loving my under painting and the expressive marks it allows. I feel a series of paintings bubbling along in my head
" what lies beneath"......

I feel with each painting I do recently my style is evolving.

I'm pushing myself to loosen up my work. It's a challenge but I think I'm pushing myself in the right direction. There's a bit more to go on this one but it's almost there. What do you think?

Gosh those clouds and rain where amazing! Got some great pictures before it got wet. But I think they deserve a big canvas.

It's hard finding time during school holidays to get work done. These little naps are great and I'm happy to drive and explore while they get some extra rest.

How do/did you manage work and school holidays?
