Saturday 17th October. BIG SHED. PRINT ENABLE.

Yes, we did the whole umm-and-ahh thing first.
Because when a market has rules about what counts as a maker, we take that seriously. So we went back over the rules from the last announcement because Tegans good with remembering the rules and were not about to put ourselves in a weird situation...

No Temu or Shein reselling.
Commercial licences for the products we sell.
Every piece printed, tweaked and hand assembled by us.
We keep inventory, test, tweak and sell our own creations too.

Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.
Yep. We are makers.

So you will find us in the BIG SHED, doing what we do best: hanging out with our community, talking 3D printing and bringing you a whole heap of quality 3D printed goodness.

And obviously...

THE TROPPOS DEBUT REPORT IS IN!

Did you spot us at Troppo Markets new home at Canelands earlier today? Because if you blinked you might have missed us between serving customers and trying to keep up with the chaos!
We were absolutely RUN OFF OUR FEET. The new location brought the people, the people brought the love and apparently everyone decided it was time to give Adam and Tegan a very long to-do list after 6 weeks away!!

So naturally, we have some stats for you...

ADAMS CHARACTER BALL CHALLENGE
Adam currently has a whopping 40 Character Balls to put together before next weekend.

FORTY.
Not four. Not fourteen. FORTY.
Will he get them all assembled in time? Will Tegan keep adding to the list? Will Adam start questioning his life choices?
Stay tuned. This is a developing situation....

MEANWHILE IN TEGANS CORNER...
Our new monthly release has officially SOLD OUT!

And what did Tegan do with that information? Immediately put more on the printers of course because apparently a quiet life is not on the production schedule!

The printers are running, the Character Balls are multiplying, the next batch is underway and our whiteboard is looking suspiciously like it needs its own project manager....

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who came to find us at Troppos new Canelands home. Whether you grabbed something new, picked up a favourite or stopped for a chat, we appreciate every single one of you.

We are still a small business with a space full of printers, an unreasonable amount of filament and two people who apparently think sleep is optional when there are cool things to make...and we would not have it any other way!!!

Now excuse us while Adam gets acquainted with those 40 Character Balls and Tegan pretends she has not already thought of the next thing to print.

Well, well, well...
Look who has finally decided to show their faces!!

Six weeks
SIX. WHOLE. WEEKS
The rumours were true
Print Enable has been missing
The printers have been suspiciously quiet
The Character Balls have been wondering if we abandoned them

And the PE polos?
Nowhere to be seen
But fear not, Print Enable followers...

**WE ARE BACK.**
After 6 weeks of travel, questionable amounts of food, far too many countries and approximately zero thoughts about what day it is, the Print Enable machines are officially waking back up.

Now before anyone starts asking questions...
If you see us and we are NOT wearing our PE polos, please do not judge us we have been on a cruise.....
Our brains are still somewhere between the buffet and the pool.

We are going to do our best to play catch up and get those little colourful chaos balls moving again.
Custom orders have also officially made their way onto the whiteboard and printing has already started.

We also want to say a massive THANK YOU for being so patient while we took our extended break.
We know 6 weeks is a bloody long time in small business land but after a very busy year we needed the time to step away, breathe, reset and spend some proper time with the family.

Now we are back
The printers are running
The whiteboard is judging us
The Character Balls are waiting

A little heads-up about card payments!

From 1st October, you may notice some changes to card payment fees and you need to be aware!!

We just wanted to reassure everyone that we have never charged card fees and we never will 💚💜

Transparency has always been a big deal to us. When we made the switch from Square to Shopify a little while back, it wasn't just because we like shiny new gadgets - The change meant we could keep our inventory accurate, run everything through the iPad and make checkout a whole lot smoother.

One thing we've always loved about the Shopify system is that you can clearly see exactly what you're buying and exactly what you're paying before you tap your card.
No hidden costs. No mystery charges. No nasty surprises.

As the new card payment changes roll out from 1st October, we wanted to let everyone know that our commitment to being upfront and honest hasn't changed. We believe you should always know exactly what your paying for.

Stay alert and know the exact amount your paying for :)

“You just press print, don’t you?”

We wish. 😂

Behind every Print Enable product is a lot more than pressing a button.

Filament gets dried.
Printers get maintained.
Settings get tweaked.
Prints get tested.
And if we’re not happy? It goes in the bin.

We’ve tried the cheap stuff. We’ve tried the “that’ll do” approach.

It doesn’t. 😅

We’ve even retired products because they didn’t meet our standards - including two clickers that just didn’t have the strength or satisfying click we wanted.

We usually have 600kg+ of filament on hand, constantly testing, learning and improving.

Because we don’t just want to sell 3D prints.
We want to sell products we’re genuinely proud to put our name on.

Thinking of you lot back home while were off exploring..

Because apparently even 15,000km away we still have Pokemon on the brain..

Pokemon will always be a little part of who we are… and clearly we cant walk past a Klefki without thinking "wait… we could 3D print that”🤣

Don’t worry Mackay… well be back soon enough and we have a few new things headed for our tables! 💚💜

So… AI has started sneaking its way into some of our custom orders.
Not *our* images though!!

Everything you see from us is the real deal - actual products, actual photos, actual colours, actual slightly chaotic people behind the printers...
But we’ve had a few custom orders come through lately where the customer has started with an AI generated image and basically said “I want THIS.”
And that’s where the fun begins....

Sometimes it takes a bit of back and forth to figure out what they’re actually imagining, what the AI has decided to make up and what we can realistically turn into a 3D printed object.
Sometimes we can absolutely nail it.
Sometimes we have to admit defeat and say “Yeah… physics has entered the conversation.” 😂

We’ve also noticed more and more people using AI for their pictures - that’s totally cool - It’s just not really us.
We like our stuff to have a bit of personality. A bit of humour. A few quirks. The occasional questionable decision and basically a little bit of Print Enable sprinkled over everything we do.
And we like showing you the actual things we make too.

Which does mean our ideas occasionally wander out into the wild and seem to inspire other people.
We’ll take that as a compliment and If something we’ve made gives someone else an idea, that’s pretty bloody cool.
Although if you’re going to take inspiration, at least let us pretend we’re trendsetters for five minutes... 😂

We’ll keep doing what we do - making weird things, useful things, nerdy things and occasionally things that started with someone saying: “I know this sounds ridiculous, but hear me out…” and those are usually our favourite ones.

Now please excuse us while we schedule our posts for the next 3 weeks.. The printers have now been turned off, the filament has been dried and stored and were ready for a couple of ideas to come to life with our forever setting the goal posts..

Mackay Twilight Market - OUR LAST MARKET FOR A WHILE!

We’re back at Mackay Twilight Market and because we have absolutely no ability to just turn up and sell the things we already have… we’re bringing a NEW RELEASE with us!

Come have a wander, say HI, play with the clickers and fidgets, check out the Character Balls, browse the nerdy stuff and generally enable our questionable decision-making.

But this one is a little different because Mackay Twilight is our LAST MARKET FOR A WHILE.

We’re taking a **LONG REST**.
A proper one.
The printers need a break.
The display gear needs a break.
Adam probably needs a break from Tegan saying “I have an idea…”* followed immediately by some ridiculous in-house design that somehow becomes a three month project. 😂

There’s also family time to be had including the youngest child having a birthday and Tegan sharing her birthday with Father’s Day this year because apparently the calendar decided one boss battle wasn’t enough and Teppanyaki is on her menu!

We know some of you will be sitting there going:
“Oh thank goodness. They’re finally taking a break” 😂
Others will be quietly putting money aside because you already KNOW we’ll be back in October with more shiny things you absolutely did not need but will somehow convince yourself you cannot live without.

And yes, we’re already working on it.
We’ve got a couple of new in-house designs and releases brewing for our return because naturally, while we’re supposed to be resting, our brains will still be going “BUT WHAT IF WE PRINTED…?” and we may just be meeting up with a possible new supplier during this trip... say what!!!

So before we disappear for a little while, come see us at Mackay Twilight Market, grab your goodies, check out the new release and help us spend one last evening pretending we’re organised business owners.
