Shocking wet day here today so rescuing popping proteas in the rain so they wouldnt get spoilt was the name of the game today.

Managed to get 3 available for tomorrow (EDIT all SOLD NOW) but many more were sold during the past week which involved picking in snow coat weather whilst another day running from bees 🐝 😀

For us, Michaelie and Graeme, accepting this award on behalf of our incredible team was an honour, and a truly amazing way to cap off our first two years as small business owners.

Boy, this mornings flowers went quick so after a few requests I had to russell up another 3 buckets to fill this afternoons orders.

For those wanting flower buckets, Im pretty much at capacity with flower orders for the next 3 days so I can certainly pop you on my waitlist and then its just a matter of how many proteas decide to open each day.

Atm im guessing I might have another 2 or 3 weeks supply left of proteas to open and then I'll be able to get back to some arting which is actual my fulltime gig. 😃

No AI or fancy technology here!
(Yep Im feeling very old 😆)

Do you know all of my images are painted by hand? Yep the old fashioned way.

One image can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks of my time to paint and create, and thats once Ive visted each town and toured around to try and capture the essence of a particular location.

I know its becoming more common these days to see technical draws happening and alas no doubt Ai will unforuntely put an end to most artists and graphic designers careers in the not to distant future.

But hopefully people will still see the value in buying an artists work as opposed to a computer generated image that only takes minutes to create these days. 🤞
