CONCEPT | We love retail design, but we love retail design for even more. This conceptual installation was designed to reflect Kit's identity, bold approach to skincare and of course, to be an experience unlike no other.

Joinery pods, lacquered in a rich red 2PAC paint, form fragmented cylinders which delicately contain a variety of experiences and functions. The first, a point of sale location and brand experience space. The second, a testing booth with flexible seating and wash basin in Kit's signature red.

BTS | When designing this high performance kitchen for our Keilor House project, we opted to pitch the full height joinery along the back wall to be able to insert an island. The full height joinery concealed shallow tall storage, wall ovens, integrated fridges and also a butlers pantry with appliance bench.

The island's radius and form replicates the surrounding walls and joinery elements, as water ripples do one another, enabling smooth flow around its central location.

As long-time admirers of we've envisaged a concept store that is true to their cause, and highlights their vivacious products. FSC Certified Plywood was applied as a sustainable wall cladding that doubles as a flexible peg-board display that precedes the cobalt blue carpet studio space at the rear. A cantilevered plywood display bench, and point of sale unit boldly branches the contrasting tactile claddings, acting as a point of gathering.

NEW PROJECT | With rising urban density and high land prices driving the demand of capable homes, we're cleverly breathing life back into this art deco gem nestled within Brunswick West. Initially a 2 bed, 1 bath home with tight corridors, we've strategically relocated bathrooms, and made use of the existing structure to re-define this homes ability to cater for future families.

Tech. Note: We retained the core structure around the newly proposed living room, giving it the ability to transform into a third bedroom should it be required for future use.

NEW PROJECT | With rising urban density and high land prices driving the demand of capable homes, we're cleverly breathing life back into this art deco gem nestled within Brunswick West. Initially a 2 bed, 1 bath home with tight corridors, we've strategically relocated bathrooms, and made use of the existing structure to re-define this homes ability to cater for future families.

Tech. Note: With the exiting garage not being able to accomodate modern cars, we contained all the wet rooms within this envelope, resulting in an ease of renovation and convenient placement amongst the new programs.

Under the vast black shou sugi ban cladding we've incorporated shelving lined with rich burgundy fabrics, a concealed TV compartment, and a bookcase, requring the performative sliding of panels to reveal the desired form of entertainment.
