A little site progress from Warranwood, where this kitchen is really starting to come together.
We completely redesigned the existing kitchen, with a colourful palette, classic cabinetry and subtle English country character. We also coordinated the builder and cabinetmaker with our clients to bring the design to life.

And one of our favourite details? The island legs. They may look purely decorative, but they actually conceal electrical cabling running through the timber legs. Our cabinetmaker painstakingly worked with the electrician to achieve this detail, keeping the island looking beautifully traditional while still accommodating the practical requirements of a modern kitchen.

The little details matter.

A kitchen of classics: black and white, natural quartzite stone, Shaker cabinetry, a freestanding enamel cooker, and warm timber floors and ceiling.

Designed for a farmhouse setting, this kitchen brings together traditional details, natural materials and practical function to create a space that feels timeless, warm and enduring.

A mid-century kitchen with a contemporary interpretation.

This kitchen was designed to complement the character of the original mid-century home, using strong lines, natural walnut and a cool, restrained material palette.

The bold blue island creates a striking focal point, balanced by cool-toned natural stone, small square white tiles and streamlined brass hardware. Walnut cabinetry runs throughout the kitchen, with open shelving incorporated to display ceramics and collected pieces, adding personality without compromising the clean architectural lines.

The result is a kitchen that feels connected to the era of the home, while still being highly functional for modern family living.

A little site progress from our Croydon Cottage renovation, with three spaces coming together: the laundry and powder room, bathroom and kitchen.

Each room has its own personality, but the overall design takes a traditional cottage approach, combining classic cabinetry, natural stone-look surfaces, timeless tilework and carefully considered details.

The green shaker kitchen brings warmth and character to the heart of the home, while the blue-green laundry and powder room and softer bathroom create practical spaces that feel right at home within this cottage.

A farmhouse kitchen designed to feel as relaxed and homely as the rest of the home. 🤍

We added glazed display cabinets with warm timber interiors to create a place for the client’s beautiful ceramic collection to be seen and enjoyed. It’s these personal touches, rather than everything being hidden away, that give a kitchen character and make it feel truly lived in.

The perfect balance of practical, timeless and personal.

This bathroom underwent quite the transformation! ✨
Literally falling apart, it was time for the cute pastel yellow tiles and pedestal basin to go. We kept the vintage charm while completely reworking the layout to create a more functional space designed for the occupants to age in place.
The original round window was kept as a nod to the home’s character, while a new skylight brings beautiful natural light into the room. A fresh take on vintage, with practicality built in.

No two butler’s pantries should be the same.

The best ones aren’t designed around trends.

They’re designed around the routines, hobbies and passions of the people who use them every day.

For this family, that meant creating a dedicated baking pantry. Complete with a grain mill for blending their own gluten-free flours, a separate oven to help minimise cross-contamination, and open shelving that makes ingredients easy to find at a glance.

A small sink with an automatic tap and soap dispenser keeps clean-up quick and hygienic, while generous storage ensures every tool and ingredient has its place.

Every decision was made with function in mind. The beautiful natural stone splashback was simply the finishing touch, proving that practical spaces can be just as considered as the kitchen itself.

Designing a pantry isn’t about copying what’s on Pinterest. It’s about understanding how you live and creating a space that works for you.

What would your ideal pantry be designed for? Baking, entertaining, preserving, coffee, or something completely different?

Big impact doesn’t require a big footprint.

This Toorak apartment kitchen proves that a compact space can still feel refined and luxurious. By pairing elegant narrow shaker cabinetry with natural Arabescato Vagli marble, we’ve created a kitchen that feels light, timeless and full of character. No two slabs are ever the same, making this space completely unique.

Beyond the design, we also connected our client with a trusted builder and cabinet maker, helping bring the entire project together from concept to construction.

We can’t wait to share the finished result.
