Always testing. Always improving. 🔥

Our team in South Africa has been carrying out high temperature testing on an Industry 70, taking the kiln right up to 1310°C, Cone 12/13.

Continual research, development and testing are an important part of what we do. By pushing our kilns through demanding firing cycles at the factory, we can continue refining our products and improving their performance and reliability.

It’s all part of making sure our kilns keep getting better.

Our round Sintered Silicon Carbide (SSiC) Kiln Shelves are only 3–5mm thick, so they’re super lightweight and take up less valuable space in your kiln.

They’re strong, won’t sag or warp and are rated all the way up to 1700°C. And if you get a glaze spill? Simply scrape it off, no kiln wash needed.

We currently have 2 round sizes in stock, with bespoke sizes available to order.

A small change that can make loading and unloading your kiln a whole lot easier!

Add colour with our Lead Free, Food Safe, Inclusion Stains

Available in 18 colours, these versatile powder stains are easy to get creative with. Add them to your glazes or clay bodies, or mix with stain binder and brush them straight onto your work. Add a little extra water and you can even create a softer, watercolour-style effect.

They can be fired right up to stoneware temperatures (Cone 9). As with all stains, colours and results can change depending on how you use them and your firing, so have a play, do a few tests and see what you can create!
