Looks like a flat card... opens into a little display! 🌻💛

I love how this sunflower fun fold stands up on its own, with the flowers sitting across the frame. And the best bit? The structure is much simpler than it looks!

Learn how to make an easy fun fold card that stands up for display and folds flat for sending! 🌻 Join Bruno for a step-by-step sunflower card tutorial using Stampin’ Up! products.

This card looks impressive, but the fold is super simple. A few cuts and score lines create the standing structure, while a sunflower-covered frame and angled centre panel bring it all together.

In this video, I’ll show you:
🌻 How to cut, score and assemble the simple fun fold
🌻 How to create the frame using your paper trimmer
🌻 Stamping and colouring with Stampin’ Blends
🌻 Adding texture with an embossing folder
🌻 Layering flowers around the frame and sentiment

I’m using the Radiant Sunflowers stamps and dies, Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper and the Timeless Herringbone Embossing Folder. You can also try this fold with your favourite patterned paper and stamps.

If you’ve been wanting to try fun fold cards, this is a lovely place to start. Follow along with the measurements and assembly, then make it your own!

That moment when you peel back the foil and see the shine... 😍✨

These two cards came together during our VIP members-only class, using Lustrous Leaves and Buffalo Check hot foiling. Warm metallic details, layered leaves and plenty of experimenting along the way!

I’m still learning too, and that’s part of the fun. You get to see the little adjustments and discoveries as we craft together. 😊

One idea to try: use the foil left behind from your first impression with a reverse-image plate. It gives you a different look and helps you make more of your foil! 🙌

I hadn’t made the August Paper Pumpkin kit, but as soon as I saw Kindred Greetings, I knew I’d love it. So I bought a refill... and I LOVE THIS KIT! 😍✂️

Soft colours, textured card bases, twine and coordinating printed envelopes. Even the envelopes get to look fancy! 😂💌

The kit makes nine cards, three each of three designs, with beautiful monochromatic colour combinations and heartfelt messages. Such a lovely way to enjoy a little creative time and have cards ready to send. 🧡

“I know we don’t need another flower stamp…” Then you see this one. 😂💙

This Sweetly Sentimental card started with an idea and went a little rogue! Misty Moonlight flowers, Mossy Meadow leaves and a dark background, with gold details giving it a vintage feel. ✨

One detail to try: swipe VersaMark around the edges of your cardstock and heat emboss with gold powder. You get that lovely uneven border without needing a whole layer of gold foil behind it. 👏

Finished with “Sending Hugs”, ready to let someone know they’re in your thoughts.

I had these Bloom Boutique flowers coloured and cut out, ready for a play during our members-only behind-the-scenes class. There was a bit of shuffling flowers and adjusting leaves before everything found its spot. 😂

Crafting tip: colour and cut a few extra flowers while you’ve got your supplies out. It’s lovely having pieces ready when you feel like making another card! ✂️
