This card might look familiar! 💙🧡

I recently shared it as part of our **Crazy Crafters team swap**, and I loved the design so much that I thought it would be fun to show you how to make it.

In this Reel, I’m taking you through the process so you can see how all the different elements come together — from that bold arched background and vase to the floral details and finishing touches.

One of the things I love about our team swaps is the inspiration we get from each other. A project can spark an idea, encourage us to try something different, and then inspire another creation along the way.

Have a watch and see how this one comes together. I hope it gives you an idea or two for your own crafting. 💕

One of the reasons I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is the community. 💕

From time to time, we participate in a card swap within our team, and it’s always such a lovely way to see and share everyone’s creativity.

If you’re wondering what a swap is, it’s quite simple. Each person makes 10 of the same card and sends them in. In return, we receive 10 different cards created by other members of the team.

And that’s the fun part — seeing how differently everyone uses their supplies, colours, stamps and dies, and being inspired by ideas we may never have thought of ourselves.

The 12 photos in this post show the projects from one of our recent team swaps, and I think you’ll agree there are some absolutely stunning creations amongst them. It’s a wonderful reminder of just how much creativity there is within our Stampin’ Up! community.

I’m so happy to be able to share these projects with you. If you’d like more information about anything you spot as you look through the photos, leave a comment and we’ll do our best to answer your questions.

And if being part of a creative community like this sounds like something you’d enjoy, we’d love to have you join our team here in Australia — and perhaps you could even participate in our next swap with us.

Just reach out if you’d like to know more about joining. 💕

Sometimes a product being unavailable is a good reason to look at what we already have a little differently.

The coordinating Designer Series Paper for the Flowering Meadow Bundle is currently unavailable, so for this card I decided to skip patterned paper altogether and let the stamped flowers do the work.

I started with a Thick Basic White card base, then added a layer of Barely Blush and a Basic White panel embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I really like the subtle texture this adds without competing with the flowers.

For the focal point, I cut a 3¼" circle using the Spotlight on Nature Dies and built up the floral scene with the Flowering Meadow Stamp Set. I used Barely Blush for the flowers, Berry Burst for the centres and Peaceful Pine for the stems. The different stamped images layer together to create the meadow, and I love how soft the finished combination looks.

The “THANKS” sentiment is stamped onto Barely Blush cardstock and punched into a banner, then I added a few little white Dreamy Flowers to finish the front. The circle is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals for a little extra depth.

I carried the same colours and floral stamping through to the inside too, with layers of Barely Blush and Basic White.

It’s a good reminder that you don’t necessarily need coordinating Designer Series Paper to make a stamp set shine. A little embossing for texture, a simple colour combination and some layered stamping can give you plenty to work with. 💗

Can we talk about that paper for a moment? 🌸

It’s definitely the star of this card, and the best bit is that I really didn’t need to do much to it. The beautiful floral design gave me the colour palette and most of the detail before I’d even started adding anything else.

I started with a Peaceful Pine card base, then added a layer of Berry Burst before letting that gorgeous Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper take centre stage. I love the combination of the soft green with those bright pops of pink and yellow.

To add a little extra dimension, I die cut the flower from Basic White cardstock and coloured it with Stampin’ Blends, using Peaceful Pine for the stem, Berry Burst for the petals and Daffodil Delight for the flower centre.

I kept the sentiment simple too, stamping “Thanks” in Peaceful Pine onto a strip of Basic White. The sentiment and flower were both popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and three Dreamy Flowers adhesive embellishments were the finishing touch.

And that was it!

It’s a lovely example of how you don’t need to add lots of complicated elements when you have beautiful patterned paper to begin with. A few coordinating colours, one die-cut flower and a simple sentiment were really all this card needed. 💚

Do you ever sit down to craft and feel overwhelmed by how many choices you have?

One thing I’m really enjoying is giving myself a smaller selection of products to work with. Pick a bundle, choose a few colours and then see where the creativity takes you.

That’s exactly what I did with the Simply Leaves Bundle, and I love how these cards came together.

A little tone-on-tone colour, some beautiful embossed texture, stamped leaves, twine and a few pearls were all they needed. I especially loved using Gray Granite with those soft, earthy colours.

Sometimes having fewer choices gives us more room to create — and once you find a combination you love, you can keep playing with it to make several different cards.

Simple, beautiful and very achievable. 💕

Sometimes simple really is enough. 🌿

For this card, I wanted to keep the focus on **simplicity** — a few lovely colours, a classic gingham background and three bold leaves doing most of the work.

I started with a Peaceful Pine card base and added a layer of Peaceful Pine gingham from the 2026–2028 In Colour Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper.

Then I stamped the three large leaves onto Basic White — one in Early Espresso, one in Peaceful Pine and one in Pecan Pie. After cutting them out with the coordinating punch, I added them with dimensionals, changing the direction of each leaf to give the simple layout a little movement.

The small “Thanks” sentiment, stamped in Peaceful Pine and trimmed closely, was all it needed to finish it off.

I really like how a simple design gives the colours, shapes and gingham pattern room to shine. You don't always need lots of layers or embellishments to make a card that feels complete. 💚
