Our 2027 “semester” will take a different form. It will be presented as an immersive one-month artist development program, making it more accessible to our interstate and international students.

It is open to all levels of dance experience, from absolute beginner to advanced. The program will culminate in a full-scale production.

Body as Altar | 4-day immersion | Northern Rivers

Women weren’t meant to spend their lives at war with their bodies.

Most women have inherited a relationship with their body built upon comparison, self-criticism and the relentless pursuit of “not enough.”

Body as Altar is a four-day immersive rite of passage exploring what it means to return to the body as sacred ground.

Through ritual, somatic practice, intentional movement, visionary dance, shadow work, family constellations and authentic sisterhood, we gently unravel the unconscious stories that keep us disconnected from ourselves.

Creating tangible change within the psyche requires more than insight alone.

It requires ritual.
Initiation.
Witnessing.
Recognition.

These are ancient pathways of transformation that have become largely absent within a culture that has lost many of its feminine rites of passage.

This is why Body as Altar is more than a workshop. It is intentionally designed to create the conditions for deep psychological and embodied transformation.

Throughout the immersion, we’ll also gather around warming, nourishing curries and soups each day, lovingly prepared to nourish our bodies as we journey through this work together.

On our final day, we’ll journey into nature to create a collaborative Body Love Campaign.

Through storytelling, intentional movement and visionary dance, we’ll capture the beauty of feminine aliveness as an offering to the collective, reclaiming a new narrative around women, embodiment and the body.

Body reconciliation, and the conscious return to the body as sacred ground, is perhaps some of the deepest and most necessary work our feminine collective is being called into right now.

Over time, many of us have become entangled in the shadows of a culture that perpetuates self-rejection, fragmentation, and the unconscious belief that we are somehow incomplete.

The founders of INBLUEM SKINCARE and E C L E C T I C A H U B are coming together to offer a potent 90-minute free masterclass exploring what it means to return to the body’s inherent radiance, beyond the distorted lens of a culture that worships youth, fears ageing, and profits from our disconnection.

This masterclass also offers a deeper context for the work we will be exploring throughout our four-day immersion, Body as Altar. Whether or not you intend to join us in Byron, you will leave with practical insights and embodied practices that support a more reverent relationship with your body.

An ember has been lit and something epic is being reborn 🔥 not just a stage show and semester … but the way we create it.

I’m coming to you live from the postpartum bubble, 10 weeks after giving birth, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever felt so creatively alive.

Motherhood hasn’t diminished my artistry in any sense.
It has only deepened it, fortified it and ignited it with clarity.

It’s stripped away any sense of urgency, overextending, endless striving, grind culture, mothering of others, and replaced it with something far more potent:

Devotion.
Discernment.
Sustainability.
Life force.
Birth.
Death.
Rites.
MOTHER.

Eclectica is entering a whole new chapter. We’re returning to ritual theatre, but this time we’re building from the archetype of Mother rather than Maiden, rooted in creating work that can be sustained over years without sacrificing ourselves in the process.

We’re calling in the artists, the visionaries, the dreamers, the storytellers and the movers who feel the ache to create meaningful work.

This year we’ll be offering just two classes, each intentionally capped to preserve depth, intimacy and artistic rigour.

Together we’ll refine our craft, expand our artistry, and journey through a series of Rites designed to deepen our relationship with the body and the stories it carries.
