Wash your shower cap. The inside of your cap will pick up your natural hair oils and sweat. It will get smelly after a while . Throw it in the wash to give it a clean like a piece of clothing . Mesh bag in cool machine cycle with all your other laundry is best

Why cotton inside a shower cap makes a big difference . (Yes these shower caps have a waterproof outer). Cotton directly against your scalp in the shower is soft , breathable , insulating , can’t release microplastics and it’s all washable . The idea is cotton fabric is the basis for a long lasting shower cap that can be easily washed and feels nice to wear . It’s worth knowing what’s inside your shower cap because you wear it directly against your scalp .
