Two concepts that enshrine my art process are alchemy; the science of changing one thing from another using physical means and mistress; a women in charge or who is highly skilled at something.

How I clean and seal vintage tins without losing their grungy aesthetic to make them suitable to use as a watercolour palette. If a tin has a lot of rust I’ll treat it with Rustbuster Gel, then Rust Guard primer and top coat as a precaution against further damage.

I think this is update 8? I haven’t done much this week because I focused on organising the inside of cupboards, drawers and shelves. I focused on grouping like materials together so that I can label the drawers and avoid the temptation to park stuff wherever there’s a gap.

Update 7, I tackled some drawers and shelf storage that grew organically. Trying to clean it up has tested my patience. I’m trying to group like materials together and my thrift shop storage isn’t quite right even though it’s aesthetically pleasing.

Christmas Eve countdown calendar for my son, it took far longer than I expected because I was designing it on the fly. A lot of the materials were sourced in op shops. All I need is suction cups to hang it from the window.
