A beautiful baby shower order for Kat’s brother, Adrian! 💕

Soft florals, gorgeous earthy tones and a little sprinkle of sweetness to celebrate a little one on the way. 🌿💜

For this order, we created a mix of our classic cupcakes and vegan-friendly cupcakes, because everyone deserves a little something sweet!

Featuring soft sage greens, lavender, dusty pinks and peach, all finished with delicate piping and little white sprinkles.

October is filling up 🖤

A little look at where Lovett Homestead is at for the rest of October.

Between your beautiful orders, the Koori Sports Carnival Market and a few already-booked-out dates, the month is starting to get pretty busy.

There are still spaces available for cakes, cupcakes, cookies, dessert boxes and all the sweet stuff • but if you’ve got something coming up this month, now is a good time to get your enquiry in.

Limited bookings available Friday 16 October, with a few other dates already unavailable.

A little birthday box for Steph 💗

This one was extra special — a 6-inch vanilla bento cake with jam filling, American buttercream, soft pinks, white details, sprinkles and matching cupcakes for Djaron’s step mum’s birthday.

I tried a few new piping styles with this one and I’m honestly so proud of how it came together. Definitely one of my favourite cake sets I’ve made so far.

Steph absolutely loved it, which made it even better 🥹💕

Still learning, still refining, but very happy with this gorgeous little box.

A pretty special way to spend my birthday 🖤🤍

I headed up to Daylesford Boomerang Ranch to cook dinner for the Collingwood Magpies Community Football crew — a program I’ve been connected with since 2015.

I was asked to come up and put on a feed for everyone, so naturally we didn’t muck around 😂 BBQ, plenty of salads, fruit salad and ice cream, with some Lovett Homestead cupcakes thrown in for my birthday.

But more than the food, it was just really nice being around this crew again.

There are some great young people involved in this program, and some equally great people behind the scenes giving them a platform to play footy while also supporting their health and wellbeing, education and life outside of football.

Getting to cook for people, sit around a table together, have a laugh and share good food is genuinely one of my favourite things — so this was a pretty perfect birthday celebration.

A little birthday bake for me 🤍

Yesterday was my birthday, so naturally I celebrated the only way I know how — by making cupcakes 😂

Soft ivory, muted greens, a little texture and a whole lot of buttercream. I wanted this box to feel calm, earthy and a little bit special without being overdone.

I think this might be one of my favourite cupcake sets I’ve made so far.

Another year older, still baking, still creating, still building Lovett Homestead one sweet thing at a time 🤍

And yes… this is my party hat
