🌸 A little glimpse behind the scenes at The Sweetest Embrace. 🤍

Right now, these beautiful blooms are nestled in silica gel, slowly drying as I experiment with preserving their delicate shapes and colours.

It’s a process that takes patience, care and a little bit of science.

My hope is to eventually turn flowers filled with precious memories into keepsakes that can be treasured for years to come.

Perhaps it’s the sound of someone’s laugh.

The way they always knew exactly what to say.

A little paw resting on your knee.

Or one of those ordinary moments you never realised would become so precious.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest things we find ourselves missing the most.

At The Sweetest Embrace, we believe those little moments deserve to be remembered just as much as the big ones.

Because love doesn’t disappear when someone is no longer beside us. It lives on in the stories we tell, the memories we treasure and the little things that remind us of them. 🤍

🤍 Some things are worth waiting for. 🤍

For years, so many of you have asked me to create memorial pieces, and more often than not, my answer has been no.

Not because I didn’t want to.

I’ve actually created more than a few beautiful memorials over the years, but I’ve always kept that work very limited and mostly out of the public eye.

Because to me, a memorial isn’t just another handmade product.

It’s someone’s whole world, captured in something they can hold onto.

It’s a face they’ll never stop missing, a love they’ll always carry, and a memory they trust someone else to treat with the same tenderness they do.

And I’ve never believed something that precious should be rushed, slapped together or treated as just another sale.

But after years of your encouragement, I’ve finally decided to open that part of my world.

So I’d like you to meet Missy. 🐾

This beautiful girl is the first memorial piece I’m sharing as I begin publicly developing The Sweetest Embrace.

I’m exploring two different engraving styles, and I’d really love to know which one speaks to you.

🤍 A New Chapter Begins…
Some things are born from an idea. Others grow quietly in your heart until one day, you decide it’s time.
For me, The Sweetest Embrace has been a little bit of both.
Over the years, so many of you have asked whether I would ever create memorial pieces and sentimental keepsakes. It’s something I’ve thought about for a long time, and I’ve finally decided to give this softer side of my creativity a home of its own.
Some of you know me from The Shimmer Shack, where things are a little louder, cheekier and covered in glitter! 😂
But there’s another side to what I love doing.
I believe the most precious things we hold aren’t always the most valuable. Sometimes they’re a handwritten note, a photograph, a few flowers or something small that carries an entire lifetime of love.
And there’s something incredibly special about being trusted to preserve those memories.
The Sweetest Embrace is a new little studio dedicated to creating heartfelt memorials and bespoke keepsakes for the people, pets and precious moments we hold closest.
I’m still developing my collection, taking my time to ensure that everything I create is something I can be truly proud of.
Because this isn’t about simply making beautiful things.
It’s about listening to your stories, understanding what matters to you, and creating something with the compassion, care and love it deserves.
And if there’s one thing I want you to know, it’s this:
I will never take for granted the privilege of being trusted with a little piece of your journey.
To everyone who has encouraged me to explore this dream, thank you. And to those joining me for the very first time, welcome.
I can’t wait to show you what I’m working towards.

🐝 DAY ONE, BABY! 🐝

The shack is officially OPEN and we’ve already cranked the chaos up to a solid 11. 🤘✨

If you’re heading to the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days, swing by Site V-29 and come say g’day!

We’ve packed the trailer with handmade goodies, tumblers, coasters, mirrors, mugs, crochet hooks, resin goodness… and just enough caffeine to keep the humans functioning.

Come have a sticky beak, a laugh, and support a small family business that’s fuelled almost entirely by glitter, sarcasm and poor financial decisions. 😂
