The smallest piece in the studio.

Still no two are the same.

Every coaster is offcut Camphor Laurel paired with a hand-poured resin edge. Same wood, same resin, same hands. Different result, every single time.

A set of four under your morning coffee. Or tucked into a hamper next to the board. The cross-sell people thank you for later.

An ordinary Thursday, three years from now.

The board is still on the bench. The light still hits it the same way. The kids are taller, the morning is louder, the coffee is the same.

The pieces we make aren’t for the special occasion. They’re for the thousand quiet ones that come after it.

This timber is classified as an invasive species.

We turn it into something her family keeps.

Camphor Laurel was brought to Australia in the 1800s as an ornamental. It escaped gardens, took over creek lines, and is now declared a pest across most of QLD and northern NSW.

Cutting it down is a service to the bush. What we do next is the part that matters.

Each board is milled from reclaimed Camphor, sealed in resin, and engraved with the names, dates, or words that turn an object into an heirloom.
