A huge congratulations to **Heather Alison**, the lucky winner of the Makers’ Design Fair Lucky Door Prize 🎁✨ Heather is heading home with an incredible collection of handmade pieces generously contributed by our amazing stallholders, the ultimate makers’ haul!

To everyone who came along and supported their local makers this weekend: Thank you. Your enthusiasm, your conversations, your purchases, and your presence made this fair something truly special.

And together, thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised $301 for Barung Landcare🌱💚 supporting vital work in conservation and regeneration right here in the hinterland. Thank you for being part of that impact.

⛈️To stay on top of the weather and allow everyone to enjoy the Design Fair before some wild weather that is forecast for the late afternoon, we’ve decided to open the gates early!!

That means all the fun and good vibes of the Makers’ design fair for an EXTRA two hours!

Browse the handmade stalls, sample the special edition gin, watch some live demos and maybe make a pair of chopsticks with your own hands!

Get ready for a weekend of craftsmanship, creativity, and *seriously* inspiring talent at the Makers’ Design Fair THIS FRIDAY and SATURDAY!

We’re thrilled to have Danny Holmes of joining us with his deep passion for greenwood spoon carving and vessel carving. Danny will be giving live demonstrations, showing you exactly how he transforms a fresh log into a beautifully carved spoon using nothing but an axe, a few trusty hand tools, and a whole lot of skill. It’s raw, rhythmic, and absolutely mesmerising to watch. 🪵🪓

You’ll also have the chance to see **Shannon Garson**, renowned porcelain artist, demonstrating her craft on the potter’s wheel. Watching Shannon throw is like witnessing poetry in motion, her fluid technique and decades of experience make each vessel come alive right before your eyes. 🎨✨

Anyone wearing one of these shirts at the market will be happy to answer any questions or lend a helping Hans.
