Natural Rugs is a growing, hands-on business specialising in custom natural fiber flooring (wool, sisal, seagrassand jute). We pride ourselves on exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a collaborative team environment.
The Role:
We are seeking a reliable, physically fit, and detail-oriented casual team member to assist with hands-on production, manufacturing, and workshop tasks. This is a practical, physical role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the cutting, binding, and finishing of custom rugs
Preparing finished products for dispatch and delivery
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop floor
About You:
Physically Fit: This role involves heavy lifting and active, hands-on physical work.
Reliable & Punctual: A strong work ethic with a dependable, can-do attitude.
Detail-Oriented: Pride in high-quality craftsmanship and neat finishes.
Visa Holders Welcome: Valid working rights in Australia required (all visa holders with appropriate working rights are encouraged to apply).
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or textiles experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided for the right person.
Hours & Pay:
Schedule: 2–3 days per week, operating between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Type: Casual position with room to grow as the business expands.

Top mistakes people make when buying a living room rug (and how to avoid them!):
1️⃣ Going too small: If only the coffee table sits on the rug, it disconnects the space. Make sure at least the front legs of your sofa are resting on it to tie the room together.
