Let's not talk about the awful, AWFUL day I had in Big Hugs HQ today. Everything I touched turned to 💩 😂

Let's just admire the lace angel I made for my little Mum's birthday a few years ago.

She was a big Christmas fan and her birthday was the week before. She absolutely adored it. ❣️

I think I might rub out today and start fresh tomorrow 🤔

I know beanie weather is fast coming to a close, but I just love making them and I was keen to use up the last of this yarn 🩷

The adult one is already spoken for but the other 2 will go in with the market stock and hopefully grab someone's attention for their tiny people!!

I'm obsessed with this little set!!

The big set for Dad has Zaliah's birthday flower embroidered on the chest and her name on the sleeve. Zahlia's jumper has daddy & mummy's birth flowers and their names on her sleeve.

I have it on good authority a photo shoot was happening today with them, soooooo cute ❣️🥰

My next market is "Dogs Day Out" in Mawson Lakes at the end of September, so I'm working on some dog themed items 🤞

I must apologise for worrying you all ❣️ Yesterday's post was not about Miss Poppy 🐈 she is perfectly fine and as cantankerous as ever. A friend is going through something deeply personal and while being with her I was looking for the warm and fluffy in the world and posted it without thinking.

How gorgeous 😍 is this jumper though? Created using some really special fabric, the colours are just beautiful.

There's always something plodding along in the background!! This last week or so, while I've been concentrating on Fathers Day jumpers, I've also been working on some steering wheel covers!

My next couple of markets are as it's starting to warm up again, so I'm working on having a nice collection of them to choose from. I'm also going to make matching keyfobs so I can offer them as a set 😊

Steering wheel covers are $35, keyfobs are $15, a matching set will be $45. ❣️

Brother Hugs to the rescue - again!

I've been making quite a few bowl cosies of late and my pattern is a little bit different to the norm because I do them the same as my embroidered ones (how gorgeous are they!!).

But cutting them out can be a boring, painful process, so I got my brother on the case and he's made me some templates, so now I can churn them out quicker than Temu 😆😆

And to reward him for his good job, I've got him out in the shed building shelves for my market table!

Bet he doesn't come here for a rest again in a hurry 🤣😂🤣

A friend sent a suggestion to me that can holders might be of interest to people, I've made them before, but its been AGES!!!

Of course, I couldn't stop thinking about them and this morning I had a particularly supportive customer coming around to collect an order (which just keeps growing!) so I decided idea to make one up each for herself and her husband in her favorite fabric to say thankyou. ❣️

What do you think, is it worthwhile making up some of these? I can see them being great gifts for teachers, bridal parties, milestone birthdays.

But also, finally something the blokes might be interested in 😆🤭

Dean has been gifted his sleep toys by special people, so to mark this after embroidering them, I added a quick message on the back, this time with heat transfer vinyl ❣️
