What an absolute whirlwind in Croatia! 🇭🇷☀️

​We’ve just wrapped up 7 incredible nights sailing the coast—our crew of 8 (mostly Aussies) on one boat, and another 8 (residing in London) on the second catamaran. Such a fantastic group and so much fun getting to know everyone! ⛵️✨

​Our itinerary was packed with gorgeous stops like Hvar, Vis, and countless quiet little bays and islands along the way for refreshing swims and sightseeing.

We also got to spend plenty of time exploring Split and Dubrovnik, both before setting sail and after, giving us a couple of nights to finally get our land legs back! 🌊

​It’s been the ultimate adventure, but the journey home has officially begun! Hayley and I are currently hanging out at Paris airport waiting for our transfer to Singapore, and then the final leg home to Perth. What a marathon! ✈️🌍⚓️

Having a wonderful time sailing the Adriatic!

We have 2 catamarans with 8 people each. Swimming in the morning, followed by a little sail to the next destination for more swimming, then on board food and drinks, then heading into the little towns for evening. Food here is tasty...though pricey!

It's lovely spending time getting to know my sailing companions!

3 wonderful days in Dubrovnik, followed by an epic road trip back up the coast to Split!

European summer is in full swing here, so everyone stays out late enjoying food and drinks—we’re definitely living on "Croatia time" now (pretty sure dinner was at 10:30 PM last night!). 🍷✨

​Our drive took us through some amazing spots along the way:

🏰 Ston – checking out the second-largest city walls in Europe climbing straight up the mountain (which looked way too steep for us, so we wisely chose to admire them from below with a glass of wine and oysters instead!). 🍷🦪

🍽️ Mali Ston – continuing the feast with a delicious lunch stop.

⛰️ Skywalk Biokovo – navigating a ridiculously thin, precarious, windy road up a giant mountain to the glass skywalk, sharing the road with wild horses and cows! 🐎🐂😍

🌊 Makarska – a lovely overnight stop on the coast, pretty town with an incredible mountain backdrop, with lots of holiday makers enjoying the beach, the restaurants and the inflatables in the sea.

🍕 Omiš – wandering through the town for a well-earned pizza and a cold beer for lunch. 🍺

​Finally reunited with some of the crew in Split for an afternoon by the rooftop pool and a lovely dinner in one of the squares. A few more of the girls arriving over the next couple of days, so don't worry, balance is being restored! 🤣

​We definitely earned our sleep-in today! 😴

After a true world tour to get here via Singapore, Munich, and Split, we’re finally together with our travel crew in breathtaking Dubrovnik! 🇭🇷❤️

​Yesterday started with exploring the Old Town and squeezing through the "hole in the wall" to the cliff bar to watch brave souls jump into the sea. We took the cable car up for a spectacular mountain sunset accompanied by live music, then headed back down for an incredible dinner at the docks with live piano. A total visual and culinary feast!

​Today was all about the iconic City Walls—stunning, historical, and an absolute workout! 🤣 Stairs everywhere (definitely some resilience training today), but cushioned by stops at maritime museums, art studios, and much-needed refreshment breaks.

​Dubrovnik is pure magic. Gorgeous alleyways, hidden restaurants, and views around every corner! 🍷✨

Yoghurt Panna Cotta!

My intention was to do the half cream half yoghurt recipe, but the cream tasted sour, so I just did all yoghurt instead, that I had made previously in the TM7....and it worked fine!

Good for dessert with the rhubarb, and even for breakfast as below with granola.

I loosely followed the recipe below, using all yoghurt instead of cream, and vanilla paste instead of vanilla bean.

Would be fun to try new flavours!

Any ideas for me to try next?

Chicken with capsicum, easy dinner, minimal ingredients.

I've been so busy packing for my upcoming trip, meals have to be quick, easy and no fuss!

Just a few more days and I'll be off to Croatia!

But.....3 weeks without a Thermomix.....eeekk!

We have to make our own meals when on the catamaran, what are some easy NON Thermomix meals to make with limited supplies you would recommend? Apparently we have to do a big shop before we get on the boat. Ugh 🤣🤣🤣 normal cooking, help argh 😝
