Mini Irish Beef Pies with Buttery Pastry Crust
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
500g (1 lb) ground beef
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon beef stock powder (or 1 cube, crushed)
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup water
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
