Every piece of wood has its own story. ✨🤍

Sometimes I wonder how far it has travelled, how many seasons it has seen, or how many times it has been given a new life.

There is something pretty special about taking a piece of wood that could have ended up forgotten in a pile and turning it into something that now hangs proudly on someone’s wall. 🫶🏼

It is not just reclaimed wood. It is a little piece of history, given another chapter. 💭✨

And honestly, that is one of my favourite things about what I create.

A little throwback to this beautiful shoot with my amazing friend 🥰

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it actually means to “show up” online.

Because behind the business, there are kids, work, family, commitments, and a life that does not happen behind a screen.

I’ve found it harder lately to keep up with posting, stories and everything that comes with being visible online. And honestly? I’m okay with that.

I want my kids to see me creating, building and doing work I love, but I also want them to see me putting my phone down and being present.

So yes, I might not post every day. You might not see every little moment of our lives in my stories. And I might disappear for a little while before popping back up again.

But the work is still happening. The ideas are still flowing. And there is plenty more wood, creativity and beautiful things being made behind the scenes. 🖤

Thank you to those who continue to follow along, even when I’m not here as consistently as I used to be.
