This fun quilt is a version of my free Bubbles pattern! 🫧 It was one of my quilts that I took to the Festival of Quilts, Birmingham.

(It has suffered the indignation of being stuffed into a suitcase while we gallivanted around Scotland—I think it has finally recovered! 😅🧳)

Oh wow! The Great Tapestry of Scotland, in a word - amazing.

Did you know it's one of the world's largest community arts projects? Hand stitched by 1,000 people from across Scotland.

It is made up of 160 linen panels and 300 miles of wool – enough to stretch the entire length of Scotland!

I could have spent a lot longer there & will (one day) definitely go back!

I talked, laughed, talked a lot more & loved every minute of it! Made new friends, caught up with old friends 🩷
