Tried the Aldi fresh pizza dough tonight. $1.49 remove from packet, shape into a ball and cover with oil. Leave for 1 hour before stretching or rolling, add toppings and bake. Not bad at all.

Woolies had packs of sausages out for $2 today, flattened onto a sheet of puff pastry with a sprinkle of Thyme for Garlic spice, absolute bargain 💵

Today we celebrate and thank the incredible nurses in our communities and around the world. 💙

On International Nurses Day, we especially want to acknowledge the nurses in our family — past and present — along with our wonderful friends who have dedicated their lives to caring for others.

We also want to give heartfelt thanks to the many nurses who care for our loved ones through treatments, recovery, difficult days, and moments when kindness and compassion mean everything. The comfort, support, patience, and strength you provide never go unnoticed.

Nursing is more than a profession — it’s a calling — and we are so grateful for the care, dedication, and humanity nurses show every single day.

To every nurse: thank you for what you do, for the lives you touch, and for the difference you make to so many families. 💙
