18 months ago, when I moved to Australia, I never thought I’d be where I’m at today.

It’s been our dream to relocate to Perth since our school days and since then…

I’ve managed to find my purpose and create a thriving business that makes people’s dreams a reality 🌟

On top of building a new life in a new country with my family, constantly learning, adventuring, and growing 📈

As I dive deeper into all the beautiful things Perth has to offer, I find so much inspiration to pour back into Nesting Down Under.

When families relocate, there is often a natural instinct to create something completely new.

A new country. A new home. A fresh start - right?

But when children are part of the move, I have found the balance matters.

There is something really special about embracing the excitement of the new chapter - like a wall mural of Australia that quietly celebrates the adventure they are beginning.

At the same time, the small familiar comforts matter just as much.

A cosy bed. A favourite kind of toy. A little desk that feels like their own corner.

Those details help a child walk into a room and feel an immediate sense of belonging.

Every child responds differently to a big move - that's why I avoid a “template” approach when creating these spaces. Paying attention to what will help that child feel safe, excited, and settled always comes first.

Because when a child feels at home, the whole family begins to settle a little more easily.
