At this Gairloch Street project, and used the traditional method to cover a colorbond fence: digging footings, cementing a permanent frame into the ground, applying architectural cladding, and then finishing it off with paint.

It looks great, but the reality? It takes a lot of time, requires trades, and the costs can add up fast. You also can’t do anything like this if you’re renting !

Most brands wait until their product is ready before they start talking about it. We think that is a mistake.

Before Colour Clad hits the market, we are doing the work that most businesses skip. We started by getting clear on exactly who we are building this for: homeowners who want to upgrade their outdoor space, and renters who need a solution that does not leave a mark. From there, we focused on building real buzz through behind the scenes content, sharing the process honestly and letting people become part of the story as it unfolds.

We also made a deliberate decision to grow our email waitlist over our social following. Social media followers are rented. Your email list is owned. Every person who signs up at colourclad.com.au is someone who has put their hand up and said they want to hear from us first.

By the time we launch, we will not be starting from zero. We will have an audience, a waitlist, and a community that is already invested.
