One of my favourite curtain combinations is an S-wave sheer heading on the front track paired with a reverse pleat heading on the blockout behind. 🤍
I love how the S-wave heading creates soft, flowing folds, while the reverse pleat blockout sits neatly behind for a clean, tailored finish and stacks back minimally compared to the s-wave. Together they create a layered look that’s elegant, practical and provides excellent privacy and light control.
For this project in Ocean Reef we used James Dunlop Antipodes in Sand – a beautiful linen/polyester blend with a gorgeous natural texture. JAMES DUNLOP TEXTILES
The blockout is Nettex Kirra in Driftwood, Nettex one of my favourite blockout fabrics in my collection. It has a beautiful handle, hangs exceptionally well and is designed to perform well in our harsh Australian sun while providing excellent blockout and insulation.
It’s a combination I often recommend because it looks beautiful, and creates a layered finish that feels both luxurious and functional.
