Lainey and Joe Creations I love to craft -all kinds of craft, from 'granny crafts' like crochet, which is very cool by the way! to sewing my own outfits. I love to craft.

Then there's quilting, painting, printing, earrings, bags, knitting...
All with my faithful doggo Joe by my side. All crafts; I learned to knit and crochet and sew as a child and I haven't stopped making things since. I also love to learn new crafts and over the years I have learned macrame, quilting, cross stitch, screen printing, linocut printing, weaving, watercolour painting and more. I like t

o make modern designs, bright colours, fun and useful items. Granny crafts can definitely be made in a modern way. I also like to explore ways to upcycle and re-use old things, especially textiles. I find myself now, after 30 years as a healthcare professional, in the fortunate position to be able to pursue my passion full time. So that's what this page is all about - my journey into the world of full time crafter / domestic goddess / dog lover / aspiring surf sports athlete / cross fitter / philosopher. Join me as I navigate my way through this next phase of my life, opening an Etsy store. I've decided to call my craft venture 'Lainey and Joe Creations'. Lainey was my mum's nickname for me when she was teaching me to knit and sew. Joe is the name of my 2 year old Jack Russell X ; he loves to snooze on his cushion in the craft room when I am busy creating, and he is good at reminding me when it is lunch/dinner time.
