Hello… hello out there…. Yes it’s me!!!!!

Wwhhhhhaaattttt has been going on- I have been AWOL for far tooooooo long?!?!?!

Sophie has being eyeballing one of these for AGES!!!! Having seen a demo in action and cooked enough risotto to feed an army she finally decided to bite the bullet!

School holidays have had our family busy!!!

We’ve travelled lots of ks, rode horses, drank too much, ate too much but have had sooooo much fun with family and friends AND it’s not over yet 🧡

We ended up being away longer than initially planned, so I didn’t pack my Thermie….

Sadly I had to:
Boil rice on the stove 👎
Buy coleslaw dressing 👎
Make gravy in the microwave 👎

This was a bit of a culture shock!!! However I survived!

I do want to take a hot minute though to drooool over this Chicken Hawaiian Burger from Brigalow Snack Stop- if you are heading down the Warrego do pop in!

Brisket & Texans Black Beef Rub

I mentioned the rub already but this was the result. I cooked it in the oven and I used my Thermosensor to check internal temp… so easy! Actually easy as and it’s now blue toothed’ to my phone 🙌

🖤Coleslaw made in Thermie.
🖤Potatoes sliced using my Thermie cutter+
🖤Rub made in Thermie in no time at all. ( too peppery for kid so would 2/2 the pepper next time and it will still be yummy)

Easy as and quick ( minus the brisket 😜)
