When you see the finished Tote Bag, you see the end result, but before the finished reveal happens there are many steps to get there.

First is choose the fabric, this can be, oh look at that one, to pulling all the fabric out and then choosing one of the first ones 😆

Then each piece is ironed and cut to size, by me and my trusty rotary cutter and scissors.

Then we make handles sew the outer and inside pieces again all done by me.

And that is what handmade is all about, no two bags are ever the same.

And the best part is that is my job, and what a great job it is.

The making of a bag begins here.

With choosing some fabric, then the pieces are cut and squared up to be just the right size.

All this is done one step at a time and by me, no factory cutting no machines, just me and my tools.

Here we have all the external pieces cut and the linings and also the handles in progress.

Who likes coffee? Me, if you haven't guessed yet I love coffee, and so the passion for coffee fabric has emerged!

I did a little test on the bag and yes my Samsung S24 ultra fits in the zippered pocket, but who puts there phone away! 😂

Coffee date day has arrived time to gather all your bits-keys, phone, and that card that you have been meaning to post for a week.

I arrived at the coffee shop early, found a seat and sat and contemplated my afternoon activities, friends arrive, time for catching up with friends that what it is all about.

Do you have a regular coffee date with friends? I had a lot more when my children were at school, now the weeks seem to slip by before time allows another catch up.

Its the last Friday of the month and I would like to give you a sneak peak at what is on the cutting table for next month!

Now tell me, where you would take me?

I can imagine going to the coffee shop for a cappuccino with friends! adding my keys, some cash or cards in the handy zippered pocket, to keep it safe, and of course can't forget my phone, my family would be lost if I forgot that!😂
