TIARA D.I.Y KIDS SCHOOL HOLIDAY'S, PARTY, PLAY DATES, SLEEP OVERS, INCURSIONS ETC)

Teach them craft
D.I.Y Silver Hair Tiara’s

What you get 1 x Tiara per child

(Let me know how many are attending party / sleep over etc. And I’ll pack your precious family and friends a tiara each to make etc

1 x tiara 5 MM (1 per child attending)
20 Grams of gemstones with holes to thread onto wire.
1 meter wire cut to size for easier set up etc

YOU WILL NEED
Ruler
Wire cutters
Pliers

SET UP.
Each child to pick what colour stone before ordering etc
Wire cut to size.

HOW TO MAKE
Add sticky tape over one end of wire. Stops gemstones coming off the bottom end of wire etc
Thread all beads on to wire
It is time to wire wrap your tiara.
measure in 5 cm to start the wire wrapping.
Wrap wire around 5 times with no gemstones first. Pulling the wire tight and trying to make sure the end in tucked underneath (bottom on tiara) so they is no sharp edge etc. I like to use the pliers and push all the 5 wire wraps together making it neat. IF you haven’t managed to tuck in wire underneath cut with wire cutters and use the pliers to flatten the wire so it sits firmly in place etc.
It’s time to drop one gemstones down the wire. Try holding back all the other gemstones in place. As the wire is positioned on the top of the tiara place the gemstone in the middle of tiara etc.
Continue steps 6 until you have no gemstones left.
Then repeat step 5 with wrapping the wire with no gemstones around 5 times to secure in place etc

Position last bit of wire to the underneath of tiara. Check to make sure no sharp edges. IF so cut with pliers and push wires together to secure the gemstones into place.
