Did you know that the size of your bangle is as individual as you are?

These silver bangles were made by two creative ladies who came to a Bangle Making Workshop last week.

Beautiful work and sized to fit each of them perfectly.

A surprise 40th birthday treat today - These three lovely ladies had the studio to themselves today for a private workshop.

Photo dump of some of my sketchbook pages for you today.

As you can see drawing isn’t my strongest skill set, but luckily that’s not the point 😮‍💨

I’m using these to build up a little reference library of textures and forms. Who knows where they might take me 🤷‍♀️

I just realised I’ve been so busy playing in my little studio that I’d forgotten to show you these fabulous pieces of silver jewellery.

All made by beginners in recent workshops over the last couple of weeks.

Some were celebrating birthdays, others were given the workshop as a present.

As always I feel very lucky to be able to facilitate these celebrations 💕

I’m a just bit excited to let you know that my ‘Whispered Stories’ necklace won second prize in the Applied Art section at the Stanthorpe Local Art Prize!

This is the first time my jewellery has won a prize 🏆

Thank you to stanthorpeartgallery for such a fabulous exhibition and to judges Emma Bain and Richard Blundell.

Congratulations to all the winners including Shane Momake Models who won the first prize with his very clever scale model, and lindsay_muir_ who won the 3D category with his very skilful ceramic piece.

The exhibition is open until 15 March and really does showcase the amazing talent there is in this area. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
