Over the last few months I’ve been super busy helping to organise the Art At The Heart exhibition.

Oh and also creating one of a kind jewellery to exhibit.

This is one of the pieces that will be on show.

If you’d like to see it in person, come along to Balancing Heart Vineyard in Wyberba (on the Granite Belt).

A little studio update…

After much thought, I’ve decided to stop running public jewellery making workshops in my studio.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one I’m really excited about. I’m making space to focus on creating my very first body of work.

I’ll still be taking bookings for private workshops during October and November before stepping away from teaching in my studio.

Thank you to everyone who has learnt with me, supported me and been part of this journey.

I’m looking forward to sharing this next chapter with you. ✨

Shh 🤫 he’s just made these silver stacking rings as an 18th birthday present for his girlfriend 💕

Work in progress - painting liver of sulphur onto sterling silver.

Ultimately this turns the silver black - when polished back it’s a great way to highlight the texture.

The colours along the way are stunning, but sadly they don’t last.

Fun to see nonetheless.

Workshops - Four lovely friends in the studio this weekend.

They each made a beautiful pair of domed silver earrings.

Lots of fun playing with textures and designs.

In my next public workshop we will be making hammer texture silver rings.

Did you know that the size of your bangle is as individual as you are?

These silver bangles were made by two creative ladies who came to a Bangle Making Workshop last week.

Beautiful work and sized to fit each of them perfectly.

A surprise 40th birthday treat today - These three lovely ladies had the studio to themselves today for a private workshop.

They look quite happy with their new silver earrings don’t you think 🤔 😃

Story time - Imagine sitting in a little jewellery studio on a peaceful property on the edge of Stanthorpe.
