Today is an incredibly important day to bring light to one of the most common but often overlooked cancers that effects so many, especially the younger population, every year. One extremely close to my heart, with my own experience with my lovely dad who was in his very early 30s when he began his journey with lymphoma!

Lymphoma, although a blood cancer can’t be detected through a blood test; so knowing symptoms is imperative as early detection is king with lymphoma treatment!

Lymphoma Australia provide incredible resources to patients and families, the knowledge they share is powerful! The services they physically provide to support those on their lymphoma journey are so invaluable and so important; but they do come at a cost. So if you can support them no matter how big or small they will put your help to the best of uses!

It’s nearly Christmas 🥳🥳🥳🥳

It feels like Christmas has come around super quickly this year…. I’m not complaining - I love it.

The most important thing for me [at Christmas time] is for my children to learn to give gifts and not just receive them. Honestly, I feel like if I don’t teach them young they won’t truly learn to value the gifts they receive and they’ll never ‘give’ of their own accord! I don’t care what it is they give (a packet of biscuits or a picture they’ve drawn is just as much a gift as something fancy) as long as thought and love are the driving factors behind their choice!

My 3year old has really enjoyed choosing her gifts for her family; every time she’s picked something she’s said ‘it’s going to make them so happy - they’re gunna love it’ and I hope that she carry’s that same love, thought and sentiment throughout every Christmas forever and ever 💖

We cannot wait! Are you a Christmas lover?? 🎄🤶🏻🎅🏼🎄

I don’t know about you but social media has me tapped right out at the moment!

We see so many highlights, which is great, but when life isn’t feeling like a carousal of lightbulb moments and exciting events posting just seems like the furthest thing away from what you want to do.

In between toddlers squabbling and pouring candles I’ve had very little time to get much else done - and that’s okay. There’s a side to small business unlike anything else; a real life. It’s definitely that time of year where a lot of us feel a little burnt out and ready to reset!

REMEMBER behind every small business is a human just trying to get everything done to perfection. It’s a tough gig but we wouldn’t have it any other way 💖

CHRISTMAS IS HERE🎄

We’ve been so busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for our Christmassy comforts; with postal delays and a last minute change in fragrance due to supply chain joys, we did it! We have our first ever Christmas collection at sweet pea by Mimi and co.

Our limited edition candle comes in the choice of 2 beautiful fragrances; our beachside Christmas option and Hansel and Gretel’s House. Our beachside edition is such a unique Christmas scent - it’s soft and sandy but has a masculine undertone that I can’t quite explain; it’s got a hint of pine that comes through but it’s not overwhelming, it’s so precise and utterly Devine. Where as our Hansel and Gretel’s House screams childhood memories, that ginger and cinnamon tone is just baking at your grandmothers house as a child, icing the Christmas biccies; I can hear Christmas carols as soon as I light it! If you’re a traditional Christmas lover Hansel and Gretel’s House will not disappoint!
