This one smells like clean skin, salty air & pretending you’re somewhere warmer than Melbourne.

A little note from behind the pink barn doors…
Hidden Florist will be closed this Thursday 6th & Friday 7th August.
I’m taking two days to step away,
have a little me time, and enjoy a small pause.

Online orders will still be open for FUTURE dates,
but there will be NO deliveries or pick-ups on
Thursday or Friday.

We’ll be back OPEN & delivering happiness on

He couldn’t quite find what he wanted online, but he knew he wanted it from Hidden Florist.
And honestly, that is one of the biggest compliments.

This is how our Harmony Bouquet came to life.
A customer walked into the shop wanting something beautiful, thoughtful and filled with soft whites and fresh greens.
He loved the snapdragons.
He loved the lilies.
He loved the clean, elegant feeling of white flowers.

But he couldn’t quite find the exact combination he had in mind online.
So he came in and trusted us to create it properly.
Not because he wanted “just flowers.”
Because he wanted quality.
He wanted flowers that felt fresh, generous and beautifully put together.
He wanted something that looked calm, graceful and meaningful.

Something that could be sent with a card, a candle and a whole lot of thought behind it.

She died suddenly, and her little sister had to choose flowers for her funeral.
There are some flowers you never forget making.
This tribute was created a few years ago, and with the anniversary of her passing coming up, I’ve found myself thinking about it again.
I went to school with her.

So when her youngest sister asked me to create the flowers for her funeral, it was one of those orders that sat heavy from the very beginning.

Because how do you even begin to choose flowers for someone you love when you weren’t meant to be saying goodbye to so early?
It was sudden.
It was tragic.
It was far too soon.

And in the middle of all that shock and heartbreak, her sister still wanted the flowers to feel like her.
Not traditional.
Something with colour.
Something with movement.
Something that felt personal.
Something that carried even the smallest piece of who she was.

So this tribute was created with alliums, disbud chrysanthemums, lisianthus, orchids, sunflowers and soft foliage.
The sunflowers were there for warmth.
The colour was there for love.
The movement was there because grief is not neat, and neither are the people we love.

Funeral flowers are never just flowers.
They are the final gesture.
The last thing a family gets to choose with care.
The love they still have, placed gently into something beautiful because there are no words big enough for the loss.

And when someone trusts me with that, especially in a moment this heartbreaking, I never forget it.

They are made to become part of the memory.
Table centres are one of those details people do not always think about first.
But when they are done well, they change the whole feeling of a room.
They soften the space.
They bring warmth to the table.
They make the event feel more considered, more personal, and a little more beautiful from the moment your guests sit down.

Hidden Florist still creates table centres and smaller event flowers by request, but dates are very limited throughout the year.

These pieces are not available to order online, because every event is different.
The date matters.
The venue matters.
The colours matter.
The size, style and flowers available all matter.

Not every bouquet needs to be soft and floaty.
Some are made for texture.

This bouquet was created with banksias, proteas, leucadendrons, sea holly, billy buttons, eucalyptus and lush foliage, all wrapped in our signature Hidden Florist black and finished with a rich ribbon.
She’s not delicate in the traditional sense.
She’s strong.
Earthy.
Long-lasting.
Full of movement, structure and personality.
