I have always had a passionate relationship with art, design and interiors. For over 20 years I have studied and explored the effects objects and environments have on our feelings, emotions and memories. Our desire to enhance our surrounds is innate. Creating beautiful, meaningful living spaces, that are reflective of who we are, enriches our lives. With a love of travel, my design aesthetic is co

nstantly informed by new people, places, cultures, history and ideas. Traveling, working and living in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa has also given me a deep appreciation of individual and cultural expressions of home. An informed eye and awareness of global trends, combined with the understanding that each client’s vision of home is unique, inspires an exciting and original design narrative. If home implies a sanctuary, I look to satisfy the most fundamental requirements of tranquility, comfort and warmth whilst still imbuing a home with an adventurous undercurrent. I strive to create beautifully considered, timeless interiors that blur boundaries between past & present and believe my talent lies in the ability to juxtapose many disparate elements. In practicing design I focus on the details of scale, proportion, light, movement and composition, making my starting point the architectural style of a space. Then, with a clear understanding of the client’s needs, a plan is developed for interior and furniture configurations, textual finishes and colour palettes. The interiors are highlighted with beautifully finished and detailed bespoke furnishings created using superior materials and specialist craftsman. We create high quality and original work that lasts. Good customer service is key. My reputation has been founded on word of mouth and is how I obtain my clients. The pleasure and inspiration a beautiful and functional home adds to my client’s lives, and the people they share it with, is my life’s passion and the measure of my success.

Expansive glazing alone doesn’t create a connection to landscape.

This home already possessed generous proportions and walls of glass, yet the architecture remained largely indifferent to the extraordinary bushland that surrounded it. The landscape was visible, but it wasn’t truly experienced.

One of the most powerful roles of interior architecture is to reshape that relationship.

Through considered spatial planning, carefully composed sightlines and the quiet discipline of materiality, an interior can borrow from its surroundings—drawing the landscape, natural light and changing seasons deep into the home.

The transformation was never about creating a contemporary European farmhouse. That was simply the architectural language.

The real transformation was turning a large but perfunctory residence into a home that finally belonged to its setting. A home where architecture, interior design and landscape exist in quiet dialogue, and where the experience of living extends well beyond the room itself.

Heritage homes deserve more than preservation. They deserve evolution.

More than a decade ago, this Roseville heritage home underwent a substantial architectural extension. It created the footprint for contemporary family living, but the dialogue between the original home and the new addition remained unresolved.

Ten years later, with their children nearing the end of their school years, our clients finally had the time to realise the vision they had always imagined.

Initially, our engagement centred on furnishing the home. As our understanding of the house deepened, so too did the brief. It became clear that lasting cohesion would come not from what was placed within the spaces, but from rethinking the spaces themselves.

Over twelve months, we reimagined the home through the lens of interior architecture, carefully weaving together heritage character and contemporary living through materiality, proportion, light and finely resolved detail. Rather than old and new sitting alongside one another, the home now reads as a single architectural narrative.

This is what inspires us most. Reimagining heritage homes. Creating modern heritage interiors that honour the past while enriching the way families live today.

There is a quiet obsession in our studio: the search within a single hue.

Not for sameness, but for infinite variation.

A linen with the softness of chalk. A limestone carrying the memory of the earth. Timber warmed by time. Honest marble with the faintest whisper of movement.

Each material has its own voice. Its own rhythm. Its own way of catching the light.

Individually, they are beautiful.

Together, they become something else entirely.

Like voices gathered in quiet harmony, their greatest strength isn’t in being heard alone, but in the atmosphere they create together.

The eye moves effortlessly between texture and tone, discovering subtle shifts rather than stark contrasts. A palette shaped by materiality, natural materials and an enduring connection to place—an approach that sits at the heart of our interior architecture for architect-designed homes, contemporary coastal homes and heritage residences alike.

Perhaps that’s the quiet power of composition. Not the beauty of any one material, but the invisible force created when every voice speaks as one.

A revisit of Harbourview House.

The most successful heritage reinventions aren’t about recreating the past or chasing the new. They’re about understanding what makes a home special and allowing those qualities to evolve.

For Harbourview House, the relationship to Sydney Harbour, the quality of light and the home’s inherent character became the foundation for every decision.

Years later, it still feels relevant.

A reminder that timeless interiors are shaped less by trends and more by context, materiality and a genuine connection to place.

Heritage homes have a richness that can’t be manufactured. Our role is simply to reveal it, refine it and ensure it endures for the next generation.

Good design comes with experience. The value of experience lies in the discernment to know what matters, what doesn’t, and how to allocate resources to create an exception outcome. It’s
not about spending more. It’s about spending wisely.

For many clients, a new build, major renovation or furnishing project represents one of the most significant investments they will make outside of the property itself.

After more than a decade designing homes, I’ve learnt that our greatest value isn’t simply creating beautiful interiors. It’s bringing clarity to complexity, helping clients make informed decisions and ensuring resources are invested where they will have the greatest impact.

A kitchen designed for connection.

In this coastal family home, the island allows seating to both sides, creating a more social and immersive way of living where conversation, cooking and everyday family life naturally overlap.

Warm oak joinery, layered stone and forged metal details bring softness, texture and depth to the architecture, grounding the space in materiality and quiet luxury.

It’s always in the detail.

A custom bar designed for a coastal Sydney residence, where the architectural form remained largely fixed and the interior became the means of transformation.

Oak, marble and glass brought together through a material-led approach — the oak hand-tinted to a soft pistachio to draw out the veining of the stone, with forged brass introducing warmth and contrast.

Bespoke joinery as atmosphere, and as an expression of intelligent interior design, where non-structural layers soften a space, shift its mood, and create a more immersive connection between architecture, interior and landscape.

Set within an Estate on acreage just outside of Sydney, ‘The Surgeon’s Study’ is grounded, tonal and deeply saturated, an exploration of interior architecture shaped by colour and landscape rather than outlook.

A red oxide palette is carried across joinery, wall planes and shelving to create a continuous spatial language, immersive, controlled and quietly resolved. The weight and stillness of the bush setting is reflected in every surface.

Materiality leads. Natural textures, matte finishes, burnished brass and softened timber grain bring depth and tactility, balancing intensity with restraint. Custom joinery and precise detailing speak to craftsmanship, considered, architectural and enduring.

A refined expression of modern Australian design, where acreage living meets quiet luxury and every surface is designed to be felt.
