Later on, I found out most of them used industry-scale-ready-made fabrics, many of them simply passed order to overseas factories, weight of those fabric ranged from 150GSM t0 175GSM. I made up my mind to make my own customised weaving fabric to regain the rustic beauty from that vintage French pure linen fabric. I was using the best pure linen fibre from Normandy, France. after numerous failures, I made this genuine heavy weight pure linen, weight is 200-220GSM, Its rustic beauty has home-spun charming character, rustic, heavy, a bit thicker yet soft which I endeavour to present a real vintage pure linen feel which a good linen can be passed to the next generation.
