It's 10am on a Tuesday and I'm simultaneously packing orders, answering customer emails, and managing three boys' school, sickness and sports who all need something at the same time. Welcome to my life. 😅

Before the emails. Before the orders. Before anything else.
We sage the warehouse.
I know, I know. Hear me out 😄

When you're making products that are designed to make people FEEL something, the energy of the space you make them in actually matters to me. A lot.

So, every week when things feel heavy, or busy, or a bit chaotic, we light the sage, set an intention and move through the space slowly.

It takes maybe ten minutes. But honestly it changes everything about how the day flows.

We're not a big corporation. We're a small team pouring candles by hand in Sydney, infusing them with real crystals and genuinely caring about every single one that leaves our warehouse.

REAL TALK! 😅

I used to ruin candles ALL the time before I started making them. Tunnelling, uneven burns, that weird smoky smell. Turns out I was just burning them wrong. And nobody ever told me the rules!

So here they are, the three things that will completely change how your candles burn:

The first burn is everything. Let it burn until the entire top layer is melted right to the edges. This sets the memory of the wax and stops tunnelling forever.

Trim your wick to 5mm before every single burn. Yes every time. It stops the black smoke and keeps your flame clean.

Four hours maximum per burn. After that the wick starts to mushroom and your scent throw actually gets worse, not better.

Wyatt is 15 this year! 🫨

When he was little, we made candles together in the kitchen because he needed something to focus on. Something to be proud of. He has ADHD and dyslexia, and the world wasn't always kind about it.

So, we poured wax. Talked about crystals. Laughed a lot.

Some days I'm packing orders. Some days I'm writing emails. Some days I'm sitting at my desk with a fan of colour swatches dreaming up what comes next.

Can we talk about why most candles disappoint? 💛

Because it keeps coming up and I think you deserve to know exactly what to look for.

Here are the 5 real reasons your last candle let you down...

1. Paraffin wax.
Most cheap candles (and some expensive ones) are made with paraffin. It's a petroleum by-product that releases chemicals when it burns and holds fragrance poorly. That's why your house smells like nothing an hour after lighting it.

2. Hidden nasties in the fragrance.
The word "fragrance" on an ingredient label can legally hide hundreds of chemicals including phthalates and parabens. Our candles are made with a blend of high-grade clean fragrance oils and safe essential oils. Phthalate-free, paraben-free, toxin-free. Because your home air matters.

3. The wrong wick.
Cheap brands use one wick size for every candle regardless of the jar size or scent. We size our wicks individually, so you get a proper melt pool every single burn. No tunnelling. No weak throw. Just a candle that actually works.
