A little about me, I have a true passion for being proud of my home and saving money and wish to share this experience with others. I have worked in hospitality, events, administration, accounts, the liquor industry, the food and beverage industry, social services sector and am a mother to 2 young children. I have done volunteer stints in both Nepal and Fiji teaching English and developing functional utilities for communities that have very little. I have a strong desire to be productive and create a space of happiness and ease. I have taken a deep sense of responsibility for the sustainability of the planet. I hope to share small ways of helping make each of our footprints softer, on the world we leave behind for our children. Contact me any time. A very confronting reminder to check on your people.

A very hard day to arrive at work today to a regular client of mine who left this world because it got too loud and overwhelming. I do genuinely believe ‘died by su***de’, rather than ‘committed su***de’ is accurate. No blame. Just love and sadness.

A very big hug to anyone who feels they’re alone, who questions their worth on this earth.

The world continues, and no matter what, time will continue on. Can we please normalise talking about the hard stuff even though the light stuff seems easier? Can we please show that there is no one who is too much of a burden.

My lovely client battled with internal demons, engaging with all services provided to her but it was always a lot.

Just another reminder of the temporary nature that we live in.

I will be going to put my feet in the grass, and taking my kids on a walk under the stars. Keep trying, you’re worth it I absolutely promise you. X

If you’ve got a member of your family you worry may be lonely, or need some help getting things done around the house I have found myself falling into this line of work and love it.

Sometimes the biggest impacts are the smallest chats.

This lovely lady I’ve been seeing for a couple of years now, and the whilst I love our chats and organising, I thought a walk outside would be beneficial as it’s hard to do solo sometimes. Finding the motivation for things outside the normal when you’re in your 80s is something I’m sure I will struggle with!

We walked up and down the street and chatted about the houses and the various neighbours and their antics. Her insight into managing parenting is always welcomed. It was slow but it was so humbling.

Take time to slow down, prioritise it.

Never underestimate the impact life has on the environment around you, women especially encounter tireless amounts of fluctuations within weight, mental health and physical health. This often leads to lots of different sized clothing which can feel too overwhelming (and genuinely emotional) to organise.

I often hear comments about how ashamed clients feel of the money they’ve spent on clothes that aren’t being used, or the sadness behind the fact they don’t fit anymore. All this emotional baggage is truly exhausting so please be kind to yourself next time your internal dialogue goes to take a jab at you.

We all are doing our best. I’m here for the highs and lows.

One of my favourite parts of the job - clients seeing their items being collected and loved by others. This clients son had recently moved out so was getting some support to rehome items. The item in question was a broken electric guitar, I put it online for free and the man who picked it up looked like he’d won the lotto. It was a lovely moment, so important to remember just because something is broken doesn’t mean it can’t find a new home to be fixed. Also the chats, as I always say, the chats about life and family during sessions is really something else.
