I’ve decided to close this chapter…👇🏼
I’ve made the decision to stop selling our current furniture and homewares collection.
It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while, and really it comes down to where the business has headed.
Interior styling has grown so much that it’s naturally become the main part of the business. I genuinely never thought I’d be styling homes across the world, but here we are.
At the same time, I’ve realised I miss the part of product design that I actually loved - the designing.
There was so much noise around it. Freight delays, courier damages, manufacturers, copycats, legal issues, stock… and it slowly became more about managing problems than making something I was excited about.
Becoming a mum has probably made that even clearer for me. My time feels different now. If I’m working, I want to be using that time well and doing work that feels creative.
I’m not done with product at all. I’m just changing the way I do it.
We will be creating one off collections, and also working on collaborations with other brands where I can bring the TLS aesthetic into products without having to carry the whole product business myself.
That feels like a much better fit for where I’m at now.
For the moment, interior styling is where my focus is going. We’re currently booked through until the end of October, and I’ll be opening the books for new projects beyond that very soon.
I also couldn’t have got to this point without this community. Every client, every order, every share, every recommendation and every person who has backed this business along the way has played a part in where it is now.
