MODERN DESIGN

Modern design refers to a specific movement that arose in the early 20th Century. It is all about minimalism, simplicity and clean lines.

Modern designs often features an open plan concept, stark/spacious rooms and a fairly monochrome colour palette. Modern interiors often use natural materials and feature natural light.

There is not an excessive use of ornaments and objects, instead favouring practical items that are necessary rather than just general 'stuff'.
