Born and raised in Warsaw Poland, I was encouraged throughout my childhood, to pursue my creative expression through an exploration of colours and texture. After I relocated to Australia and became a mother of two girls, it was clear that they would become the life force behind my brand. My continuous love for yarn and fabric, led me to artistically represent myself through my weaving. Weaving has

allowed me to form a creative expression for my new self as a wife and mother, whilst remembering my individual roots as a culturally proud Polish woman. It embraces my ongoing curiosity to explore colours, textures and materials. There is little planning prior to the start of each weave, my process is reliant on mood, inspiration or the lucky find of a new material. The design and placement of both organic and geometric lines is led by the tone and texture of the material. Bright colour palettes have come to characterise my modernised weaving art, infusing an urban appeal and sense of fun. Living in the Inner West, my weaves have become a somewhat mental yoga, exercising my reflective love for the process. Zoe Loves Ava has become a visual conversation, expressing my personal moment of discovery and triumph at the end of each design. You can explore my work on Instagram
