While I love a silky hummus, there's something special about a more traditional, home-style version.

Rich with tahini, garlic, lemon, and finished with a generous drizzle of olive oil, this is how I grew up eating it.

It’s almost time to harvest our lemons again.

Found this video from last year, I was 8 months pregnant and picking lemonia with my 15 month old 🥹💛

This is such a great recipe - no cooking required, just some squeezing and stirring and the cordial lasts forever in the fridge. I’m down to my last bottle atm!

I used to think hosting had to look a certain way. Everything perfectly timed, a huge spread, spotless house.

Now it looks more like forgotten ingredients, quick clean ups between cooking and sitting around the foukou with people we love.

Not perfect, but maybe better.

Let me know if you want the recipe for that spiced apple and halva crumble or homemade lemonada - they’re both SO good and SO easy!

1. Spiced apple and halva crumble
2. Talatouri (tzatziki)
3. Taramosalata
4. Lamb souvla / zmiles on the foukou
5. Pastourma skewers
6. Coriander salad
7. Homemade lemonada
8. Kypriako kafe (Cypriot coffee)
9. Chai with mirodies (cinnamon bark and cloves in an English brew)

I got to pop into channel 7 this week to share one of my all-time childhood comfort dinners - kattoues me kima kai tomata - conchiglie with tomato mince, made all in one pot!

What’s been even more special is seeing this humble Cypriot dish become a favourite in so many of your homes over the years too, and now even Kylie’s.

Big thank you to for all the wonderful fresh produce 🫶🏼

Horta Vrasta - Boiled Leafy Greens.

I know it sounds boring, but this is the best and simplest way to eat curly endive/lettuce or chicory.

Nothing fancy at all. Just good olive oil, lemon and salt.

1 bunch curly endive, chicory or wild greens
Extra virgin olive oil
Lemon juice
Salt

Roughly chop greens and wash 2-3 times until water is left clear.
Boil in well salted water until just tender.
Drain really well.
Dress while warm with olive oil, lemon and salt to taste.

Simple but spot on.
