“When are you getting more colours?”

We get this one constantly. And our answer is always “eventually!”

The truth is, committing to a new order is huge. We have minimum order quantities to meet, limited cashflow, and because we can only do 2–3 colours each time, we have to gather so much insight to make sure they’re the right ones for you.

In terms of production, here’s what actually has to happen:
30–45 days — weaving the fabric
30 days — dyeing and digital printing
30 days — sewing and packaging
30 days — on the water
A minimum of 4 months!

If we used cotton or polyester or bamboo viscose, there’d usually be fabric sitting on a shelf somewhere ready to go. Ours doesn’t exist until we order it. Every metre gets woven for us, to our spec, from scratch.

Which means when something sells out, we can’t just... get more.

Right now our fabric is on the loom. We actually have 5 days left to lock the colours in before it hits the dye house. And we need your help!

We had to apologise to so many of you because our bedding only comes in double, queen and king.

As we introduce our next collection, we will also be adding new sizes, which we are so so excited about!

We’ve tried the viral cooling blanket, so you don’t have to.

Typically made in 90% nylon and 10% elastane. It does feel cool when you first touch it, the same way a plastic bag feels cool. But plastic can’t breathe, so it holds the heat in. By 2am you’re either sweating or kicking it off the bed 🥲

We loved the idea though! A proper lightweight summer blanket is such a good thing to have. And we can’t seem to find similar products on the market that isn’t made with synthetic fibre.

And then the team mentioned to us that TENCEL™ is also available as a filling material, not just a fabric.
